Parks & Recreation Director
The Town of Wiscasset Parks and Recreation Department, a full-time/year-round municipal agency, is seeking an experienced professional Parks & Recreation Director who will plan, direct, organize and develop programs services, and facilities. The individual will represent the Town of Wiscasset to citizens and outside agencies and partners. The Director is a member of the Town Manager’s leadership team, reporting directly to the Town Manager. The Director will develop and refine department vision, goals, priorities and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the management of department staff, teambuilding and demonstrated leadership strength. The individual will demonstrate strong skills in communication, interpersonal relationship building, facilitation, project management, strategic thinking, accountability, ethics and innovation.
Preferences: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or a related field with three years previous leadership experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification as a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) or Certified Parks and Recreation Executive (CPRE)

Senior Center cook
The Wiscasset Senior Center is seeking a cook to provide two evening meals a month for its members.
The successful candidate will prepare a meal for an average of 20-35 people on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. The candidate will shop for the ingredients for the meal and supplies, oversee the operation of the kitchen/dining room, including equipment and supplies.
The candidate is required to obtain a “Safe Serve Certificate” from the State of Maine and provide proof of liability insurance naming the Senior Center, Town of Wiscasset.
The cook will be an independent contractor.

Wiscasset Ambulance Service
The Town of Wiscasset is accepting applications for Per-Diem EMTS, AEMTS, and Paramedic. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to work in a team environment.
Pay averages are $13-EMTS; $15-AEMTS, and $17-$20 for Paramedics.
All applicants must provide the following documents with their application: current license, valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, additional education and EMS certifications (AVOC, NIMS 100, 200 and 700; cover letter, resume and three references)
