The Town of Wiscasset is accepting resumes for the position of Treasurer. Wiscasset is a full service municipality with year round services located in Midcoast Maine. It supports a year- round population of 3,700 with an annual budget of $11 million, including schools. The Town is seeking candidates with a minimum of five years of municipal accounting and finance experience, or comparable work within a multifaceted organization. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate shall demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, Microsoft Office suite software skills, planning and organizing expertise, strong ability to work as a team member with an outstanding customer service approach to both the town citizens and fellow employees. Experience in government finance or accounting is strongly desired. Candidates should be prepared to work as an integral part of the management team and as a customer service representative as needed in a fast-paced environment. This position has a high level of visibility and interactions with Wiscasset residents, the Town’s departments and the Selectboard. Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Wiscasset Ambulance Service
The Town of Wiscasset is accepting applications for Per-Diem EMTS, AEMTS, and Paramedic. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to work in a team environment.
Pay averages are $13-EMTS; $15-AEMTS, and $17-$20 for Paramedics.
All applicants must provide the following documents with their application: current license, valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, additional education and EMS certifications (AVOC, NIMS 100, 200 and 700; cover letter, resume and three references)
