The Town of Wiscasset has an outstanding opportunity for a Town Planner. This is an important professional position responsible for a variety of current planning projects. Work involves independently managing projects with significant public input and serving as project lead for, zoning and comp plan updates. This position works closely with and prepares reports for developers, Town departments, public agencies, and the public while ensuring long-range policies, goals, and programs are implemented through development activity.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Urban Affairs, Natural Resource Planning, Public Administration or closely related field and at least three years related experience in municipal planning; or equivalent combination of education and experience, computer skills, grant management skills and a working knowledge of land/business development. Must possess a valid Maine driver’s license and have a good driving record. We value teamwork, cooperation, and quality communication. Wiscasset Ambulance Service
The Town of Wiscasset is accepting applications for Per-Diem EMTS, AEMTS, and Paramedic. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to work in a team environment.
Pay averages are $13-EMTS; $15-AEMTS, and $17-$20 for Paramedics.
All applicants must provide the following documents with their application: current license, valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, additional education and EMS certifications (AVOC, NIMS 100, 200 and 700; cover letter, resume and three references)
