The Airport Committee meets the third Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. at the Wiscasset Municipal Airport.

(5 p.m.) Wiscasset Art Walk

The Wiscasset Art Walk will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 5-8 p.m.  Enjoy all the Village has to offer: beautiful galleries, unique shops, fun eateries (including food trucks), lots of music, and a sparkling riverfront. All welcome! Participating doorways are marked by shiny streamers and a touring map is available throughout the Village.  

(All Day) Facility Closure

The Wiscasset Community Center will be closed all day on Thursday, June 28 for staff training.

(5 p.m.) Wiscasset Art Walk

The Wiscasset Art Walk will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 5-8 p.m.  Enjoy all the Village has to offer: beautiful galleries, unique shops, fun eateries (including food trucks), lots of music, and a sparkling riverfront. Friday Jun 29
(All Day) Business Office Closure

The Wiscasset Town Office will be closed for business transactions all day  on Friday, June 29 in order to conduct the fiscal-year administrative closing.

Saturday Jun 30
(3 p.m.) Sheepscot River Race

The six mile race begins in Newcastle at 3 pm and finishes at Wiscasset’s recreational pier, followed by awards and music.  Registration is on the day of the race, starting at noon, at the Sherman Lake Rest Area on Rte. 1 in Newcastle.  Registration information can also be found on www.seaspraykayaking.com. In addition to the race, enjoy an afternoon by the river with the Marshall Nelson Trio, starting at 1pm, an Open Mic starting at 5 pm, and a lunch menu provided by the Wiscasset Yacht Club and Sarah’s Café. This is a Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored event.
