Ambulance Department
The Wiscasset Ambulance Service provides 24/7 emergency medical services for the towns of Wiscasset, Dresden and Westport Island. We are an advanced life support service equipped with the lastest technology. The services staff consists of a full-time paramedic chief, a full-time deputy chief and many per diem providers of all license levels.
We also provide interfacility transfers for residents of towns we cover. The service has certified CPR instructors and offers training to those professionals requiring CPR certification, or to anyone who wishes to be CPR certified.
